The training

Everyone here started at zero

Train twice a week and in six months you’ll be able to control someone bigger and stronger than you. Not as a metaphor — as a thing you can do, taught by people who have done it at the top of the sport.

  1. You start from zero

There is a way in for someone who has never trained a day in their life, and it is not being dropped into a room of competitors on the first night.

  2. Every level, one room

White belts and black belts on the same mat. That is not a concession to the beginners — it is the only arrangement in which either of them gets better.

  3. Competing is optional

If you want to test yourself at a tournament, there are people here who have done it at the highest level there is. If you never want to, nothing about how you are taught changes.

The class timetable is still being set. It goes to the founding-member list first.
